I find the flash in this one a bit too harsh, making the subjects looked washed out, particularly the stems. Also the framing a little too tight. Otherwise a good effort.

Good idea behind this one David but I do agree it seems a bit squashed in somehow Easily sorted I would imagine.
Ps I got the same lens now as well . Great for copying slides ! Gives a great colour cast
Cheers

Hi David :wavey:

not one of your better efforts I am afraid. The white look a bit blown and it dont seem too sharp

I'd go along with the comments so far David to be honest, but I would add that I don't think the comp quite works really. Maybe just one head might have worked better or longer stems to make the comp more interesting? Interesting subject matter though, the sort of things that are over-looked in everyday life but which are quite complex up close. Worth another go I'd say. Sorry.

Thanks for the comments. :wavey: I must admit I wasn't all that happy with it myself, I much prefer to take multiple images exposed by ambient light and/or LED lighting and stack them using HF.
I'll give it another go if the flowers last until Friday.
