I am wanting to have my copyright name and my name as the author of my photographs taken with the D200 show in the metadata, but can find nothing in the manual or the cheatsheet that tells me how to do this. My D300S has this info in manual and I was able to put copyright name in the metadata of the shots taken with D300S. Does anyone know if the D200 even has this feature? I will appreciate any help. The D200 doesn't have a specific menu item for copyright information, but I have seen where others have placed this information in "Image Comment" (Setup Menu).

Ray, if you go to dtowntv.com, this was a topic that was covered. Alan is correct, but more info can be viewed, as well as actually seeing it get done. Unsure of the episode. It really is a great resource for all things Nikon.

Enter your name etc. into the appropriate fields in Nikon Transfer - they will get embedded into the EXIf for the file when you transfer yuor shots to your computer. That's what I do with my raw files from my D200 when I transfer them to my Mac.

Thanks to all who contributed an answer. All answers were correct by the way, it is done in the image comment box in the setup menu. Thanks , Bruce, for the tip on dtowntv.com. It is episode 10 and they advised to use the image comment option to add copyright. This Nature Photographers online forums are such a great wealth of info with all kinds of helpful advice. Thanks again.
