It became far too hot and sunny , far too quickly during yesterday's macro trip and by 7.15 we were struggling. I did manage one shot of this pale blue lacewing which I took with the sun behind and to the right of the subject. The background was a bit close and having warmed up these insects weren't going to let me move any distractions without flying off, but by hand-holding the camera I was able to move around to get one that in retrospect I feel added something to the shot rather than detracting from it.

Well done for getting it on a decent looking perch. Any I have managed have been under a leaf or half hidden. They dont stay still for long especially their antenna so nearly impossible to get them in focus.

One of the antennas is out of focus
I like this one Eric, especially the antennae, available lighting put to good use imo.
