Hi everyone. Just got back from a few days near Lander, Wyoming during which I took a ridiculous 9-hour hike in the Wind Rivers with a 50-pound backpack (never again!) and did some roadside photographing in the Red Canyon (much easier on the back and legs). The canyon was gorgeous with the best wildflower display I've ever seen in Wyoming. Here is a link to a short gallery I've put together: http://www.brettdeacon.com/gallery.php?gallery=RedCanyon. I'd welcome your critiques and comments - thanks for looking!
That one (#740) is also my favorite. Kudos for seeing and capturing places that many (most?) of us have never seen.
Your 'development' skills are simply extraordinary, too.
Very nice image here and set on your web page. Like the processing you have done to bring out the greens in the fields and red rocks. The light and the composition with the valley give a nice leading line and feeling of depth to the images. And yes, 740 is a sweeeet shot. Well done.

Really like the greens and the way the dirt road with the red in it really stands out.

Another masterful set. You are on quite a roll.

Each in the Red Canyon gallery are very good with nice light, clouds and shadows, but the depth created by the hazy pastels of the background against the sharp foreground ridge makes #740 really good, imo.

Another vote for 740...a stunning shot! I never realized there was such great beauty in that part of the state.
Very nice work Brett. Love the light in all of these. Your posted image is my favorite of the group.

Thanks very much for the comments. You know it's been an unusually wet year when Wyoming is accused of looking like Ireland! It's very helpful for me to hear which shots people like; seems like 740 is the consensus so far. Might have to print and frame one of that image for the gallery.
