Forester Moth
I know the background won't suit a lot of people but I have never seen one of these before. They are only tiny but are a beautiful metallic blue. The meadow was full of them. Unfortunately they were low down in the grasses.

Hi

the backgrounds a bit cluttered

and your running out of DOF towards the tail.

Other than that is its very nice :toast:

Hi Maggie
Just tht one light grass stem to the left :frown:
You did well to get this tho' - they aint big fellas. Bit of selective sharpening on the hind end might help a bit but you can't put what isnt there I suppose.
Good stuff though.

Nits mentioned but I like the colours you've captured throughout and hope you have more with a little more DOF..

Nice to see the contrasting colours of the flower and the moth.

Nits mentioned, but otherwise a nice and well composed image.

A nicely composed image :toast: The clone stamp and/or patch tool would soon tidy up that background if it bothers you.

that's a nice looking moth Maggie and a nicely composed shot. Minor nits already mentioned but still an attractive image.

Nice shot Maggie, nits already mentioned, I have been shooting these over that last couple of days and I find them difficult to get the colours to look right, but this looks good to me.
