A young grey that is making it's mark at my feeder in the garden.. Not everyones favourite subjects but they're here to stay and you got to love them for that at least..?

Hi Brett,

lovely shot with the perch following the lines of the Sqizza no nits at all from me :toast:

If the role of Grays and Reds were reversed we would all be chasing all over the country trying to get a picture of a Gray.

Brett
You don't have to love them for anything.! One bit me recentlly
Bit tight in frame but I agree , its nice the way the tail follows the perch.
One of these fell in my rainwater tank recently.
Couldn't workout why the tomatos were doing so well !!
On a serious note- I hate the bloody things !
Cheers
John
Ps
I know you will say we all love Little Owls and they too an intro. Thing is they have occupied a niche that doesn't affect our native species seriosly. You cannot say that about Squidgers. They have a lot to answer for.

What a beautiful well composed image, Brett. I like the perch and the tail following the line of it. Very well done.

Don't think you could have asked for more Brett. The perch was obviously Custom made  Good detail, colour spot on, but might like to see a slight variation in the background just to break the overall solid colour up.

And John, don't hate the greys - it's not their fault they're here!

I can only echo the above comments Brett. They are a bit like marmite, you either love 'em or hate them. Me.....I think they are great subjects, and this one you have portrayed very nicely, albeit a bit Hurstesque LOL

Hope to see you soon.

LoL....Will be in touch soon, been a tad fraught here with my post under serious threat of redundancy....

Superb image that ticks all the right boxes for me apart from perhaps a tad smaller in the frame, but guessing you were unable to move back without disturbance....

Cracking portrait of the tree rat Brett.
It would be a shame to ruin that perch with the shotgun pellets though!
