Larry, I was in Manhattan Wednesday night, and saw this same cloud formation. I couldn't find a good place to shoot from due to unfamiliarity with the area. I did realize later that if I had climbed on the Konza Prairie, I would have had some great shots with the moon and clouds.
I like the colors you found to go with the clouds. The clouds add a nice element to an otherwise empty sky.
Nice shot Larry. I like all the colors. I've been hearing about the moon over the clouds all day today, I completely missed it. Hope you will post some shots of it too!

The moon rose over the tops of these clouds later on. Shot a few of that scene also.
This was just before the sunset and the foreground had some benefit.
