Chammy
Yesterday i drove to 4 different sites over 150 miles looking for Ibex and Chamois and although i saw one or the other at each site the amount of snow made getting near enough for photography impossible so i decided to call it a day,On the way home i found this guy with a couple of her mates eating on the side of the road,Not uncommon after heavy snowfall as they come down from the heights to lower ground as the snow is not so thick,Sometimes they run and sometimes they just stand and watch what you are up to,On this instance it was the latter,As you can see there were areas of nice light and unfortunatly for me they kept out of these so just a grab shot and something to show for the effort,I have cloned out a couple of twigs that were distacting

It's a captivating portrait Dave. The light was not in your favour and I think a little s/h work would really help to do justice to it.

Shame they wouldnt co-operate by standing in the light for you, I like the feeling this image conveys with the steepness of ground demonstrated particularly well, as said a bit of PP work and this image will be lifted a great deal, well worth the effort of doing IMO...
