As usual, I will be in steamboat Springs the first two weeks of July, 3-16.
Does anyone know the wildflower conditions in Steamboat, and at what altitudes? Especially Rabbit Ears Pass and the road to Rabbit ears Peak. Or Red Dirt Trail?

Should be a good time to be in the region. I can't speak to the current conditions since the last time I went over Rabbit Ears Pass snow was still on the ground, the lakes were still frozen and the aspens hadn't leafed out yet (that was a long 4 weeks ago ). Maybe the forum's resident NW Colo expert Rod Hanna will chime in with a more timely report.
