Partial Lunar Eclipse
I didn't think I'd get to see this because of the clouds this morning, but I drove up on Trail Ridge and bingo. Just pulled up as the moon was setting behind Mount Terra Tomah and I realized I forgot my tripod. Stabilized by my jeep/backpack quadpod, I was able to get this shot just before it disappeared. No real foreground light available. Maybe tomorrow I will take my 3,000 Lb quadpod on another expedition.

We were talking about the eclipse last night during the moonrise over Sedona. Glad you caught it.

I'm so stupid. I was up around 11,000 feet this morning watching the moon set, and I kept straining to see whatever cloud was obstructing part of it. I had NO idea I was watching a partial eclipse. I kept thinking, gee, if that cloud I can't see ever clears out of the way, I'll take a few shots of it. D-OH!

Haha, did you get any shots, Todd?

Here's another just before it hit the ridge line.
