More from Roxborough
Here are a few more from Roxborough last week. I went back yesterday for sunrise and got just a few shots that I'm still working on. I did post one on ESS. I just feel so fortunate that I was able and actually chose to go there last week to see the fields of lupine in profusion as they were.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thank you for looking,

Morris

really loves the first one. It seems the light was a bit harsh, but you certainly did a good job. I really need to go there sometime..

Very nice! Really like the foreground in the first image.

You sure captured the Lupine again in the first one. Looks like a great year for them.

Thanks for the heads-up on the conditions here Morris. I made a couple visits last week and the conditions were absolutely fantastic-too bad the weather didn't add much. Anyway, I like the first post and obviously those with the bigger stands in this post. I do appreciate how sharp and detailed these shots are and the originality of the comps. Well done all around.

I'm another fan of #1, but that one at ES&S just rocks...what an outstanding sky you caught there!
Surely one of your best, Morris. I just love it.

I really like the lupine grouping displayed on #1. The lovely simple comp of the image on ESS is also impressive. Looking forward to seeing what you came up with at sunrise this morning.

Really nice set Morris. I particularly like 1 and 5 (I'm a fan of lupines).

4 and 5 for me - great comps!

Good stuff, Morris. I like all but the last one (a little too awkward for my simple mind).

Thanks for posting more. Like seeing more of the lupines.

#1 is a pleasing shot, but the middle leaves me wondering where that ditch in front of the rocks came from? Want to see something interesting and the drop-off is not working for me. #5 works a lot better. The field of lupine leads back to the angled band of trees and then the rocks. Very good perspective composition with interesting subject all the way through.

That first shot is stunning, great composition and subject.
