That's good.
Great detail.
I some how feel it's crying out to be moved up a bit and to the left
( Moths do cry out you know !)

Wonderful image. Great detail, nice background and a good composition.

Super detail and I like the saturated red that is offered on this 'fresh' specimen, but like John the comp just doesn't work for me. Maybe move it up a bit or even try a portrait orientation with the Burnet on top of the stem..?

I think I'd also prefer it a little higher and to the left, but not by much. A nicely taken shot Ian. I do like the way these Burnet moths co-operate when you take their picture.

I agree that the top left has a bit too much dead space so a slight recompose would sort it. Cracking detail and colour though.

Nits already covered Ian. Lovely subject and BKGR.

Hi Ian,

I agree with the comp suggestions but its still a very nice image of the species and packed with detail!

Cheers,

Lewis.

Very nice shot Ian, agree with the comments re composition, also wonder if it would be better if slightly larger in the frame, but thats my personal preference. Otherwise great colours and BG.
