Had trouble posting the image in the thread so posted it separately - you might want to refer to Chris's thread and view this image in the context I explained. (which was about including sharp stuff with 'soft' stuff to make the soft stuff look softer and the sharp stuff, well, er um...sharper)

A 100+ views and no comments - what is this forum coming to
A very striking 'arty' image - the movement you've captured in the background is just right.
Interesting shot - well seen (as ever). Agree with Simon that the amount of movement captured is just right but as you pointed out in reply to my image, every frame is so different when trying this stuff; it is often a case of choosing the most appealing 'blur/sharp' combination.
It is good to post this sort of stuff (regardless of the response) as it can act as a catalyst for something different.
Looks good and very different. Is there an opportunity to try this with several trees with the bracken inbetween? I can see sharp grey pillars standing in a sea of green being a very interesting shot.

Hi John,
Interesting shot and I really like it, great to see what can be done 'in camera' with some thought and experimentation.
