Greedy ! + Emperor extra
Libellula depressa (Males)
This is one from the amazing experience I had which I described below.
How often do you see two of these perched so near ?
They usually see off any other males. There were 5 around at the time and one female egg laying. This was done with the Sigma 50-500, and you can judge that the plane of focus couldn't get both in quite. It was a case of focussing on the left - then the right and so on. There certainly wasn't much in it. I then simply stacked two of the images and erased the oof one. No different from several stacks on flowers I suppose. Interesting excercise anyway.
Shame about the egg laying as the pool will dry up anyway.

The image stacking has worked well John. Something else I have yet to try

Thanks all
Just come in from a major Little owl session. Young flying ! Pics to come.

This is the Emperor Dragonfly that landed on the perch I stuck up before I'd got the camera set up !, - about 6 feet from the chasers.
Same set up.
Hope the mods don't mind, but it was at least part of the story.
If they do - delete it.
Cheers
