Made my way up Mt Evans Sunday morning and it couldn't have been a better day. Well maybe a few clouds for sunrise, but I'm not going to complain. Very active morning in the animal dept. Saw Deer, Elk, Goats, Marmot, and Pika.
Really like the marmots. I visited Mt. Evans on Saturday morning and had probably the exact opposite experience: way too many clouds but great images of mountain goats. What a difference a day makes!
The comp in the first one is excellent. As are the wildlife shots. The last one could have used some separation between the critters, but would be hard, I imagine, with Moms and Billys. They don't let them get very far away.

I love that first marmot shot! But why does that baby goat have its head up the rear of the adult goat?
Very nice! Your marmot images have great detail in the coats. I kind of like the way the goats are positioned on the rocks as well.

nice shots Brian. I like your comp on #1 and the marmot shots have ncie detail as Dan already mentioned. Though to get the kids on their own sometimes...especially when they are that young. BTW, I was up there on Sunday also...not sure how I missed seeing you. I was mostly photographing on the summit though.
