Has anyone had any recent experience of the new osprey pond at Rothiemurchus? £125.00 a session is obviously cheap compared to going to Finland, but it is still a reasonably heavy hit if the pond isn't functioning well for photography.
Dont know about this one, but it may well be worth giving Rutland a ring, when I was at the Birdfair last year, there was a new hide there and a pair showing great interest in a new nesting platform, if they are there this year, you should be able to get great shots.
Hi Chris
Just come back from 2 stints at Rothiemurcus and would recommend it. Several opportunities to photograph a number of ospreys fishing over a 4 hour period. Backgrounds are mixed but there is scope for variety and as always luck on the day plays a big part.

Any info would be gratefully received. Thanks.
