Not sure what this one is but caught it the same day as the moth, just on a different milkweed. Going to have to get me a butterfly ID book. Have been wanting to get out and chase them again but have been way too busy. Need to find someone to mow grass, weed garden, etc.
Olympus E510 Sigma 50-500 @1000mm eq f9 1/250 ISO 800 HH no crop.

Looks like a Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele), Kendall...very nice!!

Really nicely done, Kendall. Perfect aperture choice given the resulting shutter speed and DOF.
