New Mexico wildflowers: Help

The spousal unit and I are headed to Taos on Friday for a long weekend. Hoping to get a report of any wildflower activity in the hills above and around Taos. Maybe up around Eagle's Nest or Angel Fire. Anyone have a report? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bill,

I'll check with some friends in Eagle Nest (one eagle :wavey: ) and report back. I plan to hike up to Williams Lake this weekend to search for flowers, and I may make it up to Valle Vidal as well.

Apparently it's slim pickings around Eagle Nest and Angel Fire.

The desert wildflower show is over except for the cactus blooms.

Thanks Adam. Not what I was hoping to hear but that's okay. I'll just have to shoot around the churches or something. Never a dearth of subjects there. :biggrin:
