Mating wheel
Wandering along a local river I found this mating pair of damselflies. A stiff breeze at the time meant a relatively fast shutter speed, which has slightly restricted the depth of field. Even so, I like this shot. I make these common blue damselflies, but am uncertain from this angle.

I've yet to see a mating pair this year. A nice colourful shot David. Ideally the male's wings would be sharp but I know how difficult it can be to get all parts of a pair of these in focus. Also, a bit more space on the left and slightly less on the right?

Looks great to me. Nice depth of field and sharp where it counts. :toast:
