Lovely image! I like the muted colours and the well balanced composition on this one.

Hi Kieth I wouldn't worry about the comments to views ratio.
Its been going like this lately. maybe people are running out of thigs to say
Nice Shot by the way- barbed wire is certainly the fashion of late. I had to wedge mine in an un used hole !
The wing tip joining the wire is a little unbalancing but thats a minor nit.
Cheers
John

Hi keith

I would not worry about the views to comments ratio as John mentioned its been like that for a while now.

Anyway back on subject.

Beautiful shot sharp well exposed and a very fine background :toast:

The wing running into the wire is a shame but no big deal

Barb wire seems to be a very popular choice of perch at the moment

A lovely sharp image Keith. Colour of the barbed wire blends nicely with the bird. As mentioned on a number of occasions by Tom and Nick the views on the site are not all from people who post comments or images. Anyone can go on the site to view. So don't let it worry you. It happens to all of us anyway.

Hello Kieth.

Thats a beautiful looking image and one of the nicest Sandmartins I have seen.

The muted colours, detail and the soft light couldnt be better.

Just love it.
