From this breezy morning. I waited half an hour for this one while they drifted in and out of focus.

Thanks for looking

Well caught Des. Good detail in both Damsels. Attractive perch and lovely BG. I was doing likewise today. Stems were blowing to and fro and up and down. A complete nightmare but a challenge

Nice & colourfull Des, is it too central? Are they fine hairs on the backs and around the head?

Hi Steve - just for you, I've posted the 100% crop in the 'LARGER' link above. This is a compressed web version of course, I can send you a higher-res version if you like. You keep forgetting I shoot with a Nikon

Cheers,

Des

Love the image as posted and the composition for me is really well balanced,as you have two of these beautiful animals captured looking at each other so for me no other composition would work Des.Tells some many different stories for me,are they two males eyeing each other up? resting after mating etc,etc so really different and great as shot.
Ps loving you composition/angles of late in you work   :wavey:

Thanks Craig - I think they're having a chat about the weather and the idiot to the side of them that's been kneeling down for half an hour motioneless.

Regards,

Des
