That is close Mike and certainly catches the eye when it opens on screen. A little bit 'busy' perhaps and pulling back a bit may have helped the DoF (particularly around the eye) but I'd still be happy to have tsaken it as my macro stuff is c--p.

Very nice you are lucky to have dew in the morning it is now getting so dry here that our grass is barely damp.

Like this, good detail with the dew did you take one of the whole demoiselle covered in dew? That could be even better with this level of detailing and light :toast: :toast:

a nicely detailed image, although I think it would work more effectively with the whole insect included.

Great impact on this but I wonder if the "Dew" has taken over a little as opposed to the insect. Would certainly like more of the insect in view.
By the way we certainly haven't had a dew like that around here lately. I had a damsel on some reeds at my pond and I marked it- went out early the next morning and it was as clean as a whistle ! I went back to bed.
Cheers
