Taken 3 mi. n. of Topeka, Kansas yesterday, July 4th.
We were/still are surrounded by the remains of the gulf hurricaine and it rained all day Sunday before clearing somewhat.
With some imagination one can believe this sunset was symbmolic of the 4th of July with the blues, whites, and pink, er uh red...
I normally don't like the horizon centered but I wanted the clump of bluestem with water glistening off the leaves.
I don't like the darkness. Perhaps lightening even more the grass?? May get some "noise"...
Neutral density filter???
Comments sought and appreciated.

Nice 'mood' image the way it is seems to me.

Beautiful sky, Larry. I'd have to agree that the fg seems a little dark, but might be improved with some curve adjustments.
I'm guessing that was a typo on the lens. The 12-24 is a DX lens, and not for full frame bodies. Don't you have a 14-24?
