Tunnel vision
I'd been shooting landscape with mirror lock up, which didn't help, so this was the only clear shot i got of this bull elk. I liked the way he was framed with the dark passage leading to him in the open lighted area. canon 5d, 70-200 mm at 200, f/5.6 at 400 iso at 1/320 sec. It seems that with my camera in my car forever in the back seat, moving stuff around all the time it changed from shooting raw to the worst jpg by its self. Always learning something. Out of the car and into the house for awhile. Kinda photography dead here. So to all the people who do this non stop, always striving, hats off to you all!

Cliff excellent shot and the framing really adds a lot. What do you think about cropping it a bit on all sides except the top? This could go on a greeting card. Nice work!

ditto Erik's thoughts.... I'd probably try getting some of the magenta out as well.
G10's & G11's are great for this stuff... don't leave home without one!

Bummer on the worst jpg, that is a neat shot. I agree that the framing adds a lot. Now that's how to capture a set of antlers.

Fantastic shot, Cliff. What a unique look at an elk. Seems like he doesn't even know you're there. Good going!

Very cool shot Cliff. Too bad about the small resolution JPG. The tunnel effect really works here.

This is a very neat, unusual image, Cliff. Nicely done.
