Looking south along the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.

I started my day very early because of the long drive from Jasper to Calgary for my flight home to Virginia. The Canadian Rockies gave me one more memorable sunrise, making it just that much harder to leave. The S curve in the road just added a nice touch.

Very nice Howard. Good use of the road as a lead in.

Beauty, eh?

This is a real beauty alright!
My only nit is the slightly heavyhanded use of the Shadow/Highlight tool.
I think that backing off of that a bit would make a nicer image.

Really like the comp, and agree with John. Maybe a touch more contrast.

Man, I love that area. Your image just reminds I need to plan another trip up there.

Doesn't even look like a photograph...WAY too much processing with Shadow/Highlight. Otherwise, the composition looks OK.
