Wet pine
We are back to seeing a lot of raindrops. Well we had a week of dry weather. Got some weeds out of the garden, yards mowed again then 2.7" of rain yeaterday and more for today. Shot this a couple weeks ago while chasing some birds in the park.

Nicely done. I really like the various greens of the old and new needles against the nicely mottled OoF green background. Good use of DoF. I assume you want C&C so ... I would like to see the older female cones less centered - maybe moved slightly lower-left to allow the male strobili clusters at the top and right to be fully included. Just my 2 cents.

I like this image a lot. The immature cones make this one very compelling, and the composition is very nice.

I'm with Brian; I think this is excellent. Strong composition, love the repetition of the water drop counterpoint and the BG is perfect. I think a slight crop from the bottom would do the image no harm but that's so minor I'm not sure I'd even bother. Very, very nicely done, Kendall.
