Food Fight
This past week I had the opportunity to visit the Island Lake Rookery located east of Chetek, Wisconsin. This was my first visit it turned out to be a great location to view and photograph birds. One side of the rookery is along a road with a clear view of about 25 Great Blue Heron nests, and an Osprey nest. There also appeared to be about 6 Green Herons in the area. I spend the morning watching the Heron parents feed the young and the Osprey soaring above the rookery.

Great series of images. Like the Green. Looks like another one of those places where you could spend a day or two enjoying and capturing the sights & sounds.
