Stud Horse Point / Thousand Wells/Pockets directions?

I've attempted to find these places before with some decent (or so I thought) directions to no avail. I'm most interested in Thousand Wells, the area Powell describes. I've found it on sat imagery, I think, but I figure someone here has been.

I know Laurent's book has SHP directions, I just don't have it.

I've got decent maps and some quads, so a little nudge in the right direction would go a long way, it's a tangle of roads out there.

SHP - Roughly 36.59.50N 111.36.04W - Look it up on Google Earth. Go to Page, Az and look to the NW near the Utah border.
