Just another Big Sur image...
What do you guys think? Nothing too special, but I like the plant colors and the sweet blues in the water.

(Anyone know what type of plant/flower that is?)

This works really well. I like the dominant flowers in the foreground and it is nice to let my eye then wander back to the nice coastal scene. I can't help with the ID.

Nice image, Benjamin. I agree with Harley's comments.

The plant looks like a variety of Stonecrop, which is a succulent.

I like this a lot! Hard to compose these since you have to get so low. Would of been nice to catch some more blue water on top of the white rock just above the succulent.

Have an old view I shot with the D70 but I like your comp better. Shows the ruggedness. http://sieren.smugmug.com/Other/Stock-Photography/1208028_w3p8z/1/53307517_L8eBo/Medium

Good composition. I like the relationship of the plant to the setting. Like Steve, I like the low point of view. The Plant is in the genus Dudleya (which is in the Stonecrop or Crassulaceae plant family) but I can't tell the species without more plant details.
