FLORA MILESTONE - Pat Sampson

Please join me in congratulating and thanking Pat Sampson for reaching the 10000 comments plateau. Pat is the 2009 Flora Editor's Pick winner and has been one of the stalwarts on the Flora gallery since his arrival on the scene three years ago. Have a look at Pat's gallery. His expertise is not limited to Flora but also includes wonderful Photo Art, Fauna and ES&S images. Thanks Pat for being such an important part of the finest Flora gallery on the planet. >=))> :toast: :toast:

Thanks you guys and thank you Bill for taking the time to post this thread.

I started photography about three and half years ago and a friend suggested that I join NPN to get critiques of my images. Best advice I could have gotten. However, the reasoning wasn't quite right. The suggestions I receive are almost always instructive but analyzing someone else's image, commenting and then comparing the comments made by others is a faster way to learn - at least for me. This assumes of course that others are commenting on the image.

So thanks to all of you who comment for making this a great place to learn photography.
