Flying jewel
Hi all,
a few days ago I was out at a near pond with loads of
Damselflies and Dragonflies. Here I show you one. I dont
know the name in English. These guys are really flying
jewels.

7D; Tamron 180 + 1,5, 200ISO, f9, 1/125

Thanks for looking, C and C always welcome

Beautiful colours on the damselfly and nice and sharp on the head and thorax. Not quite got the angle on the insect as the tail goes more oof.I like the lighter areas of the background but you start to lose the wing details in the darker areas.

The head is incredibly detailed Bertl and the dark BKGR really makes it stand out.

DOF or subject movement has affected the end of the tail a little.

Cheers

Nice tones and colours with a good background. I tend to play around with f9 and f10. Its only slightly out and if the focus plane was slightly different it may make all the difference required.

Beautiful.

Nits covered. Very attractive insect, it almost looks as if it has a lighting element on its back.
