Quick! Lock up the state before us out of towners come and ruin the hills heh. I'll be cruising back Colorado way to see Darrin, Todd, Jesse (hopefully), Brent and all you crazy wildflower chasers. It will be great to see everyone! First beer at the True Grit Cafe in Ridgway is on me.
Let me know who's all gonna be free to meet up the next couple weeks. I'd love to see everyone out and about at Shrine, Lake City, Ouray and Estes. Its good to be coming home.
For now, here's a quick pic from last summer to whet my appetite for home in RMNP. Can't wait to see you all.
Cool shot. I've never seen a shot from Rock Cut lit only by a full moon.
I welcome all you Cali folks. Come here, spend LOTS of money (preferably part of which will be on items by me), and then, put down the local real estate magazines and GO HOME.
Hahaha Todd, the way I figured it, all those Californians moved to Colorado (um Highlands Ranch anyone?) and ruined the Front Range for us all those years ago, so the least I could do was move to California a few years ago and ruin their state.
Just how else did you expect the Governator to get elected? LOL
Can't wait to see you guys...
Believe it or not, that shot above was Infrared B&W. I really wanna take a converted IR camera out to Marble for fall colors this year.

Back in the 1970`s you would see this bumper sticker "DON`T CALIFORNICATE COLORADO" - it didn`t do much good.
