Sunrise Serenity
Got out for sunrise this morning for the first time in a good long time. No clouds in the sky as the sun broke the horizon over Lake Lenexa but there were some nice pastel hues present. Hope you are enjoying your summer.

Nice Wayne, looks very peaceful.

The decision to leave most of the visual elements as silhouettes, with just a touch of detail in the foreground grass, was a good one. Love the fog, the muted colors, the reflections, the sun rays. Beautiful work, Wayne.

Glad you were able to get out for a few shots this morning, Wayne. Looks like you picked a good morning. I love the soft color here - especially the warm glow of the grass just in front of the sun. Beautiful image.

Wayne, the pastel colors are really soothing combined with the still lake and the fog. Great composition!

A nice pleasant scene, Wayne. I like the grasses silouetted against the water. I wouldn't mind if the foreground was just a a bit darker even.

Wayne,

The foreground is eye-catching as is the rising fog. The lines of the treed-horizon lead one's eyes to the rising sun.

Nice composition.
