Came across this image while sorting out some shots for my portfolio page, taken a few months back. My site has been running now for a good couple of months and to my surprise I've managed to keep up the blog - something that I thought I'd have trouble maintaining. It's working progress but I'd really appreciate your thoughts of the site thus far, specifically what else you'd like to see, and/or anything that springs into your mind. Email me your comments if you prefer, don't mind either way.

Thanking you in advance for your time & feedback.

This is a pleasure to view Des, the soft colours work well as does the composition. Is the seal in a shallow dip? because the line where the seal's tummy meets the sand is dead straight.

Des, Like it makes you look and look again. Comp works very well.

Andy - no, it's the very low-angle. I think sharpening for web has enhanced the straight line.

Thanks for your comments.

A very arresting image Des, the subtle colours really lift the seal and helps draw the eye to the subject. A strong concept based on the placement of the subject. An enjoyable image to view.

Not sure what is under the body of the seal, looks like two blobs of sand, about 3/4 of the way along to the rhs? Might clone out?

Nice pastel type image with a nice arty feel to it...although I would like a little more canvas on the left or a bit off the top (just a personal preference).

Love this one Des. The portrait crop has worked really well and the overall effect has ben heightened by the pastel background. Really nice.
