NIce capture Phil. Like the expression on the otter's face and detail in its fur. However there's something about colour balance that looks a bit off on my monitor. Nice shot all the same.
Colours look OK on my screen Phil. Our local Welsh lads (that'll be Dai the otter) are a lot more reclusive than them there 'Jocks'. I shall have to get up there one day as Scottish otters just seem to laze about all day waiting to pose for photographers !! I blame it on 'Ring of Bright Water' myself.
Lovely image. Good use of foreground for depth and a good clean background. I have no doubt some will say remove the piece of seaweed on the background but I'd be happy either way.
Nice one Ohil . I wonder if mayeb a bit tighter crop with everything in the same position as it is. , Would loose a bit of the mush I feel.
PS Just started using your camera !!

There really is a yellow cast on this image which, if adjusted, together with some other suggestions here will greatly improve the image. A truly nice encounter and hope you got more.
Hi Brett it's probably the cloudy WB as the otters whiskers have a RGB value of 242 242 & 245 making it a little warmer looking I could add a bit of blue, but I'm not so keen on cool looking images just a personal thing.
Lovely otter, seaweed and background.I think I might also crop in a bit closer to lose some of that oof rock in the foreground.I wish I had any picture of an otter, never mind one as good as this.
