Snowy Egret Landing
While bicycling the Trinity Trails in Fort Worth I came across the low-water dam on the Trinity River where egrets and herons gather to fish for minnows coming over the weir. It is close to LaGrave Field. I went back by car and foot to find the spillway with camera in hand.

The curmudgeon stikes again! Beautiful take on a beautiful bird.

I wonder whether brightening the egret while keeping the background dark would be an improvement?

Wonderful capture Daniel. The position of your subject couldn't be much better. Like Randy I think this could have even more impact with some additional contrast between subject & bg. Good stuff!

Nice capture. This is a good action shot and I like the dof. I agree with a little more selective light on the bird.
