Columbine, indian paint, larkspur, lupine, yarrow...that's all I can readily identify without a book. Man, what a display. Wish I could see this in person someday. Nice image!

Wow, is that packed with so many different varieties of wildflowers! Amazing. Isn't there also monkshood, and cow parsnip?

Very nice. Eyes do not want to leave frame as there are so much to see. Like the contrasting textures provided by background.

Thanks for the comments y'all.
Jack, this is mountain shadow about 7'ish am. But be prepared for afternoon showers & overcast.
I didn't get any good "storm" shots this time around. I might be back weekend after next. I'm sure they'll still be going.

Chuck, just looked at the 10 day forecast and they are calling for PM thunderstorms so I'm hoping to get some good dramatic exposures without getting struck down!!

With such a variety I'd half believe that somebody took one of those assorted seed packets and spread it in that area.
