Took this on Sunday morning. I wish I had been on the dunes a bit earlier, but still like what I got overall.

Really like the comp and the shadows.

Nice capture here Joshua. I actually see the potential for 2 images here....one half with the ripples and one half with the large wave and shadow.

This is simply outstanding!
I love the contrast between the '2 for 1' composition, the toning, and how the images seems to fade away (yet with plenty of detail) at the top.
I can hardly imagine a better time of day to capture this one.

And yeah, I like what you got overall, too!

This image has a great flow to it. The more I looked at it the more and more I liked it.

Sweeet shot from one of my favorite places. I don't recall ever seeing a comp like this, which is a big plus. As others have noted, Love the feeling of 2 for 1 here-you sure this isn't a composite of 2 images  Nicely done!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Good to know fellow photographers are liking it. I was approaching the left side of this shot and saw the dune to my left and the small ridges to my right running up the slope. I hiked around (left of shot) and set up, so I'm actually looking downhill through the foreground. No composites outta me.

Very nice abstract image. I love how the little lines in the front lead your eyes to be big dune in the background!

Neat! Kind of schizoid--but cool.

Very, very cool shot! Love the feel of two images in one composition. They are so different, even though it is all part of the same area.

I like this a lot!!!!!!!!! Like Kurt said, two images in one, spectacular composition and I'm sure it wasn't easy to spot initially either.

Well done! I've been toying with this sort of idea as well and doing them in a Pano crop too!
