One from a few weeks back. I do love to see Dragon's faces. I think they look like aliens.

Excellent detail captured, I especially like the tattered forewing giving it a touch of individuality.
What's a tripod?

it is a detailed image and they do look like little aliens just a shame part of the face is behind the stem, still a nice image

Nice shot Maggie, this angle works for me, as already said shame part of the face is hidden but theres not a lot that can be done about that, nice to see the underside of the body

Always better to see the face imo Maggie, you're spot on there.

Only nit already covered, I like the way the partial back light is showing up the hairs on his body - yep looks like a male

Nice BG too.

Looks like he's been fighting too judging by the chunk missing from the front wing.

All been said Maggie, it's an 'almost there' shot. Mind you I've never even come close to seeing one, let alone taking a pic of it! Worth having another go if you have a site for it.
