Hart Prairie Sneezeweed
Heading to the San Juans next week, so figured I would get in bloom mode yesterday evening for better things to come. The yellow western sneezeweed is blooming on Hart Pririe on the west side of the San Francisco peaks, along with the lupine. I like how the single plant mirrors the color of the southern cloud. Single exposure. Increased contrast and saturation, darkened highlights, A little crop and sharpen. f/9 focused on flower. I had taken multiple exposures to blend, but this single seemed ok. C&C welcome.

I will be around Yankee Boy and American Basins next week Monday-Friday, so if you see German Wire-haired Pointer riding shotgun in a pewter colored Chevy PU w/shell, feel free to give a shout.

The first thing I noticed was the color mirror also. Nice lines as well.

Well done, the color of the clouds really brings out the flowers.
