I'll be going to a concert in Boulder on the 26th, and was thinking of hanging around for a few days to shoot some wildflowers...but...will I be to late?
I can also use some tips on locations, since I have never shot in that area.
I'd sure welcome any thoughts/suggestions!
Thanks...

I'd probably head over to Brainard Lake area, near Nederland. I've seen wildflowers on the trail up to Lake isabelle in the past...columbines, paintbrush, etc.
Bob, I agree with Jack. Wildflowers peak around the middle of June here so, as Jack mentioned, Indian Peaks Wilderness area would be a good choice. Rocky Mountain National Park at higher elevations should have opportunities for wildflowers too. I think the wildflowers on the tundra off of Trail Ridge Road should be good around the 26th (check the conditions thread in this forum). Old Fall River Road, a dirt but smooth road that goes to the visitor's center on TRR, also has some nice areas for flowers.
EDIT: I just saw a wildflower shot by Dan Baumbach in ESS that was taken at Chautauqua Park somewhere. So their maybe some pockets of flower in Boulder Mountain Parks that I'm not aware of. But the last time I shot the Flatirons, most flowers were already going to seed (lupines, etc.)
Dan said he just took that shot 2 days ago, and that there are very nice groupings of flowers around the Flatirons. Nothing with a good view with the Flatirons in the background, but good bunches to play with.
