Egret with Attitude
Like the Black Crowned Night Heron, the Snowy Egrets are very determined predators. They were hopping all over the rocks and rills in search of one more tasty morsel . . . usually minnows coming over the spillway. Location: Trinity River, near downtown Fort Worth.

Everything looks great -- focus, detail, pose, expression, background, rocks -- except that there might be a little motion blur at the head, or I guess the beak mainly. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't necessarily trust these old eyes 100% any more. How's that for an incisive critique?

looks great - the detail in the plumage is especially nice. i imagine that is one of the many challenges - not blowing highlights in the white areas.

excellent.

Well titled.
Photo looks a tad dark. Wish there was slightly more space behind the back foot. I bet this guy was in a hurry and you got what you got....
Nice capture.
