Alfalfa
This is a shot of one of my favorite summer subjects. I have alfalfa growing in my "prairie" area near the house. I mow it periodically to keep fresh booms around all summer. They usually last from early June until frost. Most of them are various shades of purple but I had a small patch of white flowers this summer.

I've been restricted to shooting around the farm for a couple of weeks. I've been tired and chalked it up to old age and the weather. Turns out it was old age, the weather and Lyme disease. First time I've had it in 70 years and I'm hoping the last. I've been on drugs now for about a week and feel like getting out again but have to stay out of the sun.

Glad to hear you are getting better. Have had some friends with Lyme disease some of them took quite a while to figure out what it was and get it treated. Like the shot of the bloom . Alfalfa is sorta unsung hero, for all it gives us.

I've never seen Alfalfa closeup either, so this is a nice treat. Hope the meds you are taking for the Lyme disease will help you get back to normal real soon.

Wonderful shot--absolutely perfect lighting and a wonderful complimentary background.

I hope the Lyme Disease is under control; that can be a very nasty malady.

Nice photo, one of my childhood memories is of fresh cut alfalfa, the smell, not the bailing! Hope you are feeling better.
