Yellow Swallowtail??? I'm not up on my butterflies...
The tiger lily competes heavily for the color.
This is darker than I usually go but some of the wing detail was missing at proper exposure. Slight blur on upper wing. Probably should crop a bit more off the right side and blur some of the detail in upper left corner.
What is the opinion of the gallery on the light/dark?
Nikon d700, Nikkor 100-300 manual macro.

I like the richness and saturation of the colors. It looks great on my calibrated Macbook pro screen. A most excellent photo! I wish I had taken it!
Very nice Larry, I think the tones are fine. I do agree it may have a little extra on the right side, subjects are nearly centered. With the swallowtail looking towards the upper left it's position in the lower right of the frame may make it somewhat stronger, but it doesn't really take away from what is a really good image. I would be visiting this lily patch again. Looks like lots of fun awaits.
Just crop a little on the right as Brad suggests, sharpen a tad more, and you've got a stunner! I like the darker approach as it really makes the bright colors pop. Nice work!
