Take the test and find out.

I scored a 4, and all 4 boxes that I had incorrect were in teh mid ranges in the blue/green spectrum.

I got a 4 also. So if Koveh and I tell you your color is off you'd darn well better listen

Wow, 4 is an inredible score, Koveh. I got 8, which I guess is okay for 50-year-old eyes. What I don't get is where it says "Highest score for your gender and age range: 1520." Um, it appears the scale is only from 0-99. If someone got 1520 on this scale, I'd say they're either blind or dead. My inclination is to say the latter.

Pam, I'd do whatever you tell me to already.

Todd... you crack me up.

If you don't have a genetic or other type of "color vision deficiency" you CAN improve your score with practice. Years of working in a photo lab (and good genes ) let me ace this test just about every time - like this morning.

But I'll still listen to Pam... or Koveh... mmm-maybe Todd.

I remember this test from a year or so ago--think i scored a '6', will try again to see if i get any worse...

Well, i scored a 2 this time. Was hoping for a perfect score, but i'll take the improvement...i knew that upping my beer consumption would improve my vision! :jump:

I scored a 0 for my age range 40-49.

Ok, i wasnt gonna quit until i got it all right--this time, a perfect score!!

I got a perfect score (for my age group!) It was a six before age corrected, but I guess they are pretty good for an old fogey!

I scored 0. But I have to take my time on that green-violet bar to score perfectly.

Crap. I scored a 7. Guess I need to get my eyes checked.
Posted by Todd Caudle on July 18, 2010 at 7:47 PM
Morris, I didn't realize they had a "centenarian" age group. That's good for you. I SAID, THAT'S GOOD FOR YOU.

I'm happy with my score of 7 but that blue/green line (where all my errors were) nearly blinded me. In addition to the blindness, do you think this test could also account for the need to shave my palms?
Posted by Morris McClung on July 18, 2010 at 8:43 PM
TC and Caz, you guys are a RIOT!
And yes, my age is showing, because when I revisited my score, there is no age correction! So I didn't score a perfect score, just a 6. :frown: I was, of course, reading it wrong. I had a little trouble in the blue/green section too, Koveh. Man, I hate being a hundred! Man, I hate being a hundred.

I'm not even going to bother to take the test since I'm lucky enough to be red-green color blind. At least I have an excuse for all those stop lights I blow through. :-)

I can't even get the colors to move in the test using IE8. I can only guess that it's another one of those annoying MS protection features that prevents their many programs from working properly. Any ideas?

Firefox Jim..
Posted by Amy Lindsey on July 19, 2010 at 11:15 AM
Jim- I used IE 8 with no problem.

Wow, I got a perfect score and I'm even on a crappy work monitor. Guess I can't use the excuse my eyes are bad for my colors being off in my photos, huh
