I've posted a few of the images I've captured of this family over the past few weeks but I thought it might be of interested to some to see a few comparative shots over the last several weeks of these Broad-winged Hawk chicks. I have been both delighted and fascinated to have witnessed the development of the chicks, and as an added bonus, I only had to walk up the top of my driveway and point my rig across the road.
The nest was about 15 meters high-best guess, and the primary shooting position was about 30-40 meters from the tree the nest was in.
This first image was shot on June 27th, which was the first day I discovered the nest.
Thanks so much for shuffling through the images. It was an enormous thrill for me to witness the development of these chicks over the last several weeks, and while they will probably be here for a few more weeks, I'm hoping for a repeat next year.

That's a great set of images Chuck, thanks for sharing them!
A very interesting series Chuck. I especially enjoyed the third image ("warming up for future action"). Must have been a thrill for you to witness the progression of these chicks from such a close and convenient vantage point.
