Anyone have experience and a possible solution to ERR 20 on a 5DII (or other body)?
I started getting these a couple weeks ago and it's very frustrating. Sometimes I can bank away at the shutter release and get a shot but usually this error prevents me from shooting. I've turned the camera off then on, removed the battery, tried different lenses, CF cards, etc. It keeps coming back and I can't tell what is causing it.
I read on another forum that freshly formatting a CF card may help or cleaning the lens contacts. Other posts indicate a shutter problem.
If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate hearing it!

Thanks, Bob. The canon response is what I saw on the other forum. I'm going through the steps. I have some brand new batteries, guess I'll try that. Hopefully I don't have to send it in for service.

I had it on my body several monthes ago, and had to send it in. It works fine now but was a pain in the butt to lose it for a couple of weeks.
good luck!

Ditto what Don said. I had to send mine in.

There is a copy of some correspondence there from Canon about the CF card issue.
