Another from some time spent back with these a couple of weeks ago.

Kind regards,

Great background, Brett, and I like the high key effect of the lighting.

Another gorgeous image Brett love the colour and the simple blade of grass and great detail even on the legs.

Good stuff !
Brings back good memories seeing these way back.
You must work on the antennae though    :frown:
Yippee - found a nit !

Look fine to me Brett.

I agree with John, the antennae are a bit problematic, a bit of focus stacking would have sorted that out, if the conditions and subject allowed.  Still an excellent example, though.

Nit covered but a beautiful image and you have certainly made up for the detail in all other parts of the butterfly. Beautiful BG too. :wavey:

Nice picture Brett - I think the background makes the image although the highlight is ever so slightly too bright for me.
I don't have a problem with the antenna, the defocus allows me to concentrate on the eye/head.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks All,

... In these winds and the slowly warming subject meant that there is absolutely no opportunity for any kind of stacking.. I tried extra DOF but same problem together with more detail in the BG so, this is the best I could get in the circumstances.
