So Todd mentions, You might try the red filter..." Ya think?

Very strong graphic B&W Lance. I might have gone for the slightly more subtle orange filter, but this certainly pops nicely. Although who am I kidding, I very, very rarely shoot B&W.

Love the composition and tonal range. Looks like a good day for B&W!

Excellent b&w shot! :toast:
Love how the dark shadow in the lower right provides such a great counterpoint to the patch of dark sky near center left.
You might consider cropping an inch or so from the top (down to near the bottom of the uppermost cloud bank) for a less elongated view and to focus even more attention on that fine mountain.

Beautiful shot.

Hey, if John Mumaw likes a shot, that's high praise in my book. And he's right, of course.

Ditto what John said, and you have a heaping helping of drama with this one! Very Nice.

Beautiful and dramatic. I think you could get away with a crop from the top to just above the first big set of puffy clouds.

The BW and the clouds make for a very dramatic image!
