A new feature to each of the upcoming monthly editions will be interviews with prominent or notable nature and wildlife photographers. With Ten Questions, hopefully you can gain some insight into the photographers' philosophies, marketing strategies, and/or careers that may be of help or interest to you.

The first three interviews are as follows:

August: Willaim Neill
September: Jim and Carson Clark
October: Art Wolfe

If there is someone you would like to see interviewed, please let me know who it is and why. If you have a particular question, I would like to know that too. Enjoy!

Great new feature...looking forward to it.

I'ld like to see an interiew with John Shaw, in particular his views on the current state of the stock industry and what he sees happening in the near future.

Richard/Jim,

What a great new feature! This I would think would be a nice extra feature for NPN.

Aside from the obvious candidates from our own ranks.... Marc, Guy, etc....

How about

Charlie Cramer.
Moose Peterson for the wildlife folks

Looking forward to the interviews.

Sounds really cool...not sure how possible these are, but as long as we're throwing names out there : Nick Brandt, Paul Nicklen, Frans Lanting, Yousef Khanfar

Personally, Jim Brandenburg is my favorite nature photographer of all time. I would love to read an interview with him, and I bet there are many on this site that would too. This is going be an extremely helpful and interesting feature, can't wait to read the first ones.

Another vote for Brandenburg, and nomination of Scott Weidensaul.

I think David Leland Hyde, Philip Hyde's son would be willing to do an interview for NPN. He has some great insights.

Great idea. I would love to see an interview with Frans Lanting feature here!

I think Frans Lanting is an obvious candidate given the nature of this site. I'll think about questions.

We learn more from failure than success. I'm interested in the little failures that great nature photographers made, saw, and acted on. I'm not asking what not to do. I'm asking what experiences put them back on the path to success.
